The last time I posted something in this series, I said I was going to cut back on posting weekly updates. I said I would start updating on my progress about once a month. Well… as it turns out, that's not going to work for me. [Read more...]
There's really not much to report this week. In fact, it's all pretty boring really. I try to change it up a little bit here and there, and I try to be consistent. I have my good days. I have my bad days. But really, I just keep moving. So I think it's time I cut back on posting about my progress. Not because I'm getting nowhere and not because I'm throwing in the towel or anything like that. The truth is, I've run out of things to blog about when it comes to my progress and I'm bored to death about blogging on my progress.
Talk about a slacker – that would be me. I'm really late in getting this post out, but I have good reason for it. My daughter was in town over the holiday and left only yesterday. I really wanted to start the C25K program again, but I didn't feel like my left leg was ready for it just yet. I feel I'm ready now, but my schedule this week is kind of strange. So I'll start week twelve. It doesn't look like I'll be in the 5k race, as a runner, in October. I won't be ready for it yet, but I will walk it. And, if memory serves, there is a 3k race right here, in town, in November and I should be able to participate in that. [Read more...]
