I'm a bit of a gamer. If you've been here before, you probably already know this. I even play social social games, meaning I play a few (not a lot, but a few) games on social networks like Facebook. The number one complaint I see from other people when talking about Facebook is "I'm sick and tired of seeing all the game posts in my stream", or something along that line anyway.
Well, ya know what? I'm sick and tired of seeing you complain about seeing the game posts in your stream. Why don't you just hide the game posts? Facebook has had to option to remove, restrict, or even revoke the rights to have third parties posting to your wall for a long time. You just didn't do it – probably because you didn't ask anyone how to do it, or you didn't bother looking it up in the help section. Or maybe you were just too lazy to click on another page. I don't know.
That's okay, because now they've made it even easier to hide all those annoying game posts, so there's no reason to keep seeing them in your stream. The best part – you don't even have to leave your page to get rid of them forever.
It's easy. It's two simple steps. Ready?
Step 1
Hover your mouse over the right-hand corner of the post. A little 'x' will appear.

Step 2
Select from the drop-down, what you want to hide. In this example, we want to hide all posts generated by the game Gardens of Time.

So stop all the whining already – follow the steps above. Do it once and you won't have to worry about it again. And then maybe, just maybe you'll stop annoying me with all your bitching.
