No, no. I'm not talking about some creepy guy in a santa suit or some guy on the train. I'm talking about a flash mob. Do you know what a flash mob is? I started noticing them about a year ago. The first time I saw one, I thought "Wow, that's pretty cool", but I didn't think I would see it again. I was wrong. They've sprouted up everywhere, and by everwhere, I mean all over the world!
What is a flash mob?
A flash mob (or flashmob) is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual act for a brief time, then disperse. The term flash mob is generally applied only to gatherings organized via telecommunications, social media or viral emails. it was the first I’d ever seen – when u need a pick-me-up that will do it. So many smile!
there was a local one where i live at a mall…and it was to spread awareness of the “new cpr” where you don’t have to suck on people’s mouths and, actually, it was kind of sad.u00a0 (video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwc0KXJTuqg)u00a0 the woman at the beginning is all alone, i sort of feel like they didn’t totally understand the idea of the flash part.u00a0 or the mob part.u00a0 also, where is the music coming from?u00a0 it’s there even before she starts.
Holy crap! That was downright painful to watch. lol u00a0A flash mob should never be done with props. Unless it’s just one person with the props in a mob.
