Just like last year, I decided to gather up my favorite or significant Facebook status updates and post them here. It was a fun way for me to look back on the events that took place in my life. I have to admit, this year was a little dull compared to last years status updates. I'm okay with that.

Gnomeo and Juliet: I guarantee that is one movie I will NOT be seeing. I don't know – it creeps me out… the thought of little gnomes in my yard coming to life and falling in love… later, getting married… then having sex in my yard with their little gnome bodies and having gnome babies. It's just not right. Yes – I know they're not real. Still, it's creepy.

So… Two 11yr. old boys to see Hop earlier today. I thought it was one of the worst movies ever – ranking up there with Skyline. The boys thought it was great. I've lost all respect in my son's ability to rate/review movies.

How did you see the fireworks? Me? Well, at the last minute, Jacob and I decided to drive the mile up to the mall overlooking the lake where they had the show and we leaned up against the trunk of the car, stood there for about 20min., then sat in traffic for the next hour to get back home. I'm sitting here and have a clear view of Kim and Jacob trying to fix the dryer (hose gt clogged up). Kim was behind the dryer and couldn't get out without using a step stool. Then shoved Jacob over the dryer to get the step stool and he couldn't reach it. Kim ended up using a hanger to get the stool, but ended up knocking the hose loose again. Now they're doing all over again. It's absolutely hilarious to watch.

Let me see if I've got this right… Thousands of people have gathered around in cities all over the country to protest corporate greed, chocolate-chipless cookies, gas prices, wall street, bank bailouts, social inequality, topless fat guys, unemployment, etc… All in hopes for "some kind" of reform? Someone, please tell me they've thought out and have planned solutions to all of these issues, before they set out to protest. Wait. What? What do you mean they haven't?

Please excuse my son for his absence on 11/18/2011. A new game was released and we *had* to be there for the release. As a result, he wasn't able to make his regularly scheduled bedtime and in turn, slept in…you know, for his health and all. Also, we had to test the new game…you know, to ensure game quality. As a result of game playing, I was not able to bring him to school before 3:00pm – which was too late.

I've shared the same house with the same man for 14 years now. I'm not sure if I'm more amazed by the fact I haven't stabbed him yet, or the fact that he's stuck around for this long knowing the risk.
