I am a huge iTunes fan. That's where I buy all my music. I can't even tell you the last time I bought a CD. I figure, why bother buying a whole CD, when I only like four songs off the entire album? I visit iTunes every couple of months and spend a few hours listening to samples and buying new tracks (always spending way too much). It's about time I do that again. I've seen some major changes in my only daughter since I posted Screw You… I Mean… Merry Christmas Momma and thank goodness they've been for the better. About a week after that post, she quit her job to move in with her boyfriend. Two days before she was to leave (and her birthday), the two of them got into their last argument. They broke up. A New Me – Week Two

This week was both good and bad. First, let me say that I’ve finally gotten over this whole fear of my going to the gym, but it didn’t start out great. Monday night, I drove to the gym and sat in the parking lot scoping the place out. I noticed there were two women on treadmills and a third on the elliptical. So I decided to just put my earbuds in and go for it. I had forgotten how different it was to be on the treadmill than on a track. The track is full of bumps and little dips. The treadmill is so much easier to walk or run on. So I was on the treadmill for an hour, changing the incline and speed I was going at. It felt really good. [Read more...]

My first update since I got back on track. I do all my logging in and tracking on My Fitness Pal. I’ve been a member for a couple of years now. I used to be very active in the forums, especially during that first year I did lose a good amount of weight. I rarely check them out anymore, but if you’re over there and decide to register, look me up. My screen name is OomarianneoO. MFP is the best free site I’ve come across with all the tools to help me, plus the folks over there are awesome.
